Skill Vigyan Programme (Skill Development Programme) in Biotechnology

This programme has been implemented with an objective to provide hands-on-training in tools and techniques in Biotechnology and allied areas to generate skilled manpower. This programme has been designed for providing skill training under five categories (a) Students (b) Technician training (c) Faculty training (d) Entrepreneurship Training (e) Biotechnology Finishing School Programme. The programme has been implemented in nine states viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh through State Science and Technology Councils of respective states.
